Computer Cleaning - The computer cleaning is like a physical for your computer. We will eliminate dust and debris from inside the case to allow the cooling fans to do their work. We will also inspect the cooling fans to make sure they are in working order. We will perform a number of tasks such as verifying that your anti-virus software and definitions are working and up to date, clean out temporary files that are taking up precious disk space, check your hard drive and even answer your burning tech questions.
Hardware Upgrades*- We will install video cards, memory(RAM), and additional hard drives onsite.
Peripheral Setup and Configuration- We setup and configure many peripheral devices such as digital cameras, iPods, mp3 players, printers, scanners, and Personal Digital Assistants(PDA's).
Virus Protection and Removal - If you have a high speed internet connection, but don't have an active anti-virus program, then you probably already have a virus. Viruses don't have to be downloaded by opening suspicious e-mail attachments, some viruses can get into your computer directly through an Internet connection. Many viruses and trojans are destructive, deleting critical files, and transferring you confidential data across the internet. We can help you set up virus protection and educate you on how to update the program.
Spyware Protection and Removal - If you have a high speed internet connection, but don't have an anti-spyware program, then you probably already have spyware on your computer. Spyware, also known as ad-ware and malware can change settings on your computer and hijack your internet browser. Small spyware infections can lead to bigger problems rendering your internet browser and computer useless. Some severe spyware infections can pollute your screen with pop-up ads, change your home page, change your search features, and even use your computer to store pornography. Again, we can help you setup anti-spyware protection and educate you on how to update and run the program.
Wireless Network Installation- If you already have a high speed network(Cable or DSL) in place and would like to extend the range of your network through wireless communication, call us to schedule an onsite estimate.
